The Estes Porta-Pad II launch pad has three plastic legs for stability and is suitable for use in launching a model rocket. It has a metal blast deflector for protecting the pad legs from flame and a two-piece 1/8" diameter rod for vertical stability during liftoff. This launch pad accommodates a 3/16" diameter launch rod (not included) for use with rockets that require a 3/16" launch rod.
